Our goal is to get our parts into your hands as soon as possible. Our in stock products (i.e. carbon fiber mirror caps, start buttons, spoilers, etc.) ship via USPS & UPS, from our in-house fulfillment center in San Jose, California, and will arrive in 2-5 business days. Our other carbon fiber products are custom made to order, to assure the best product quality throughout the entire process, from when you order it, up until after you receive your Bimmer Plug mod. Once you've placed your order you will receive a confirmation email that your order is being processed.
Please allow 2-5 business days for processing and the tracking number to update on our site for in-house orders. Custom bespoke carbon fiber and various other products (steering wheels, hood and trunk replacements, grilles, diffusers, front lips, side skirts, exhaust tips, certain spoilers & mirror caps, etc..) are made to order and will require an extended processing time ranging from 1-3 weeks, with an additional 1-3 weeks shipping time. Out of stock items will require 2-4 weeks processing time. Please contact us first for inquiries in regards to specific product stock and shipping time information.
Once you have received your order from the delivery date, you will have up to 14 days from that period to return the product. We will also inspect the product to make sure there's no damages or any other defects. Depending on the product, there could be a restocking fee. If your initial order qualified for free shipping, you will need to pay the return shipping. Customer pays for the return shipping and a refund store credit will be issued minus the shipping charge that was first given. All products which are approved for return are for store credit only. Returns / refunds are only eligible if you received the incorrect/damaged item from what you ordered. There is no return / refund / exchange for any parts that have been used, damaged, modified, painted, or installed. Returns are not eligible for custom products such as exhaust tips, full steering wheels, etc. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please send a video and photo of the situation at hand, if applicable, to speed up the entire process.
To start a return, please contact us at email@example.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. If the item returned has been used or damaged, Bimmer Plug will not provide any form of refund for that item.
Cancelling Your Order
If you would like to cancel an order after it has been placed, please note, if you cancel the order in within 1 hour of ordering, you will be given a full refund. If the order has left our location / have been processed, you have to wait for the order to be shipped to you, then you the buyer is RESPONSIBLE for paying for the return shipping. If the item has not shipped yet and it has been over 1 hour since you've ordered, you will have to pay a 25% restocking fee if you'd like to cancel your order, for a refund. If you'd prefer in store credit for the cancelled order, you will receive 100% of the order's value. Once we receive the package we will inspect the order and then we will issue the refund store credit minus the shipping cost. Depending on the product there could be a restocking fee. If you would like to cancel your order, during it's fulfillment time, you will only be eligible for in store credit.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to email us to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item, so you do not have to wait until your shipment has arrived, for your exchange product to process and ship out. If you received the wrong item from what you ordered, please contact us ASAP so we can help with the exchange process. Please send a video and photo of the situation at hand, if applicable, to speed up the entire process. Exchanges, due to wrong fitment, on the buyer's end, will only be accepted the 1st time. Exchanges for custom products such as exhaust tips, steering wheel replacements, etc. will not qualify for an exchange.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. Refunds are only eligible up to 14 days after delivery.
Lost or Stolen Packages
Bimmer Plug is NOT responsible for lost or stolen packages. If packages are confirmed to be successfully delivered, you will have to file a claim with the shipping carrier if you did not receive the package. We send tracking information once packages are shipped and delivered. Please obtain your package as soon as possible. It is ultimately your responsibility to file a claim with the mail carrier. Bimmer Plug is unable to do anything in this situation, and will not refund or resend the lost/stolen item.
