Use trim removal tools to remove the center console trim. Unscrew the factory head unit with a T20 Torx and disconnect the OEM harness.

Connect the included CAN bus harness between the new display unit and the vehicle's OEM connector. Route cables cleanly.

Seat the 8.8" display in the dash opening and secure with provided hardware. Reinstall trim panels.

Step 5

Code the new unit to your vehicle VIN using BMW-compatible software (ENET/E-Sys or BimmerCode) to enable steering wheel controls and reverse camera.

Step 6

Reconnect battery. Verify touchscreen, CarPlay, Android Auto, steering wheel controls, reverse camera, and audio output.
