Fold the mirror housing inward to expose the full perimeter of the OEM mirror cap and prevent scratching the mirror glass during removal.

Using a plastic trim pry tool, carefully work around the cap perimeter starting at the rear edge to release each OEM clip without damaging the housing.

Wipe the exposed mirror housing with an alcohol prep wipe to remove dirt and grease from clip contact points. Allow to fully dry before proceeding.

Hold the new carbon fiber cap over the housing to confirm correct orientation and clip alignment before pressing into place.

Align from the front edge and press firmly along the perimeter until every clip engages with a positive click. Work front to rear for even seating.

Run your finger around the entire installed cap perimeter to confirm flush fitment. Repeat installation steps on the opposite mirror cap.
