Park on a level surface, shut off the car, allow headlights to cool, and disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Remove the 3x 10mm retaining bolts per headlight, slide the assembly forward, and disconnect all harness connectors from the rear.

Locate the factory DRL module connector inside the headlight housing. Press the release tab and disconnect the OEM DRL module.

Step 4

Seat the Bimmer Plug CSL DRL module in place of the OEM unit and connect to the factory harness until the connector clicks into lock.

Step 5

Temporarily reconnect the battery, turn on the ignition, and confirm both DRL modules illuminate correctly.

Step 6

Reconnect all harness connectors, slide the headlight assembly into mounting position, reinstall retaining bolts, and reconnect the battery terminal.
