Disconnect the negative battery terminal and allow 10 minutes for the electrical system to discharge before beginning headlight work.

Remove required front bumper or access panels per G87/G42 service procedure. Disconnect all harness connectors and remove the headlight assembly.

03

With the headlight on a clean surface, open the housing per G87/G42 service guide to access the DRL module mounting position.

04

Disconnect the factory DRL harness connector, unclip the OEM module, and remove it from the housing.

05

Seat the Bimmer Plug CSL DRL module into position, secure all clips, and connect the harness connector until it audibly clicks.

06

Reseal the headlight housing, reinstall on the vehicle, reconnect all harness connectors, secure mounting bolts, and reconnect the battery.

07

Using BMW ISTA or equivalent, code the new DRL module to the vehicle. Clear all stored fault codes after coding.
