Open hood and locate the DRL connector on the rear of each headlight assembly. Use trim removal tool if needed.

Press the locking tab on the DRL-specific connector and disconnect it from the headlight harness.

Connect the Bimmer Plug module between the factory harness and headlight DRL connector. Press until you hear the locking click on both sides. Repeat for second headlight.

Route module away from heat, secure with included cable tie. Turn on ignition and verify yellow DRL output. Check iDrive — no fault codes should appear.
