Step-by-step procedure

Park on level ground, engine off. Open hood to access grille mounting area.
From inside the engine bay, identify the upper grille retaining clips along the top edge of the grille frame.
Use a plastic trim removal tool to carefully release clips along the top, left, and right edges of the existing grille.
Pull existing grille forward and out from OEM mounting points. Store safely for future use.
Position the Bimmer Plug Dual Slat Grille over the OEM mounting points — confirm left and right orientation before engaging clips.
Press the grille firmly and evenly into position until all mounting clips engage with an audible click.
Confirm all edges sit flush with the front bumper. No gaps or raised edges should be present at any point.
Close hood. Step back and inspect from the front. Confirm symmetry and panel alignment.
