Disconnect battery negative terminal. Wait 15 minutes minimum for SRS capacitor discharge. Confirm airbag system is fully de-energized before contact.

Using Torx T30, remove airbag module from steering column rear. Disconnect all connectors, label each. Remove center nut and mark spline alignment. Withdraw OEM wheel.

Transfer OEM clock spring to Bimmer Plug hub. Connect all button wiring harness connectors to matching positions on the custom wheel.

Align to marked spline position. Seat the wheel and torque center nut to BMW G Chassis workshop spec.

Reconnect airbag connector and horn. Seat module and secure Torx fasteners to specified torque.

Reconnect battery. Use BMW ISTA to clear SRS codes, code wheel controls. Verify all buttons, M-modes, and SRS clear on startup.
