Refund policy

Returns

Once you have received your order from the delivery date, you will have up to 30 days from that period to return the product. We will inspect the product to make sure there's no damages or any other defects. All returns for refunds will have a 25% restocking fee applied. Customer pays for the return shipping and store credit will be issued minus the shipping charge for the return label. All products which are approved for return are for store credit, exchange, or refund. 

There is no return, refund, or exchange for any parts that have been used, damaged, modified, painted, or installed. Returns are not eligible for custom products such as: steering wheels, grilles, diffusers, front lips, side skirts, exhaust tips, DRL modules, CarPlay products, headlights, tail lights, spoilers, mirror caps, front hood, rear trunk, engine cover, mid-pipes, downpipes, floor mat, key fobs, seat back cover, interior trim set, splitters, brace bar, canards, etc. Custom products will be identified by no quantity counter on the product page. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please send a video and photo of the situation at hand, if applicable, to speed up the entire process. 

To start a return, please go to https://returns.bimmerplug.com. If your return is approved, we’ll send you a return portal as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. If the item returned has been used or damaged by the customer, Bimmer Plug will not provide any form of compensation for that item.

Cancelling Your Order

If you would like to cancel an order after it has been placed, please reach out to us within 1 hour to cancel the order. Contact us via email (support@bimmerplug.com), or text us during business hours at +1‪ (949) 229-3397. After 1 hour, if the product is in stock, it is likely that it will be fulfilled if it was placed before our cutoff time at 2 pm PST. If the order has left our warehouse / has been processed, you have to wait for the order to be shipped to you, then you, the buyer, is RESPONSIBLE for paying for the return shipping. Canceled orders for in-stock products, that have not been shipped yet, are eligible for exchange, store credit, or partial refund. Custom-made product orders cannot be canceled for any refund or in-store credits after 1 hour.

Chargeback & Dispute Policy

By completing a purchase, customer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:
Invalid Reasons for Refunds or Chargebacks
The following circumstances do NOT qualify for cancellation, refund, or payment dispute eligibility:

  • Cancellation request after 1 hour of placing order
  • Change of mind or no longer needing the product after order confirmation
  • Decision not to proceed with vehicle modifications
  • Finding products at a lower price
  • Customer unwillingness to wait for production timeframes
  • Vehicle sale, trade in or transfer of ownership
  • Vehicle damage, accident, or total loss
If a customer initiates a payment dispute or chargeback with their bank or payment provider, Bimmer Plug reserves the right to suspend all refund eligibility while the dispute is under review.
Once a dispute is opened, refund options are no longer available. Resolution options for disputed orders may include:
  • Original order fulfillment
  • Store credit
  • Replacement item of equal value
Refunds are not eligible for orders that are subject to an active or completed payment dispute.

These situations are considered voluntary purchase decisions and do not qualify as product defects, fulfillment errors, or service failures. Customers need to contact Bimmer Plug customer support to request resolution prior to initiating a payment dispute. Initiating a dispute without first contacting customer support may delay resolution and may result in refusal of future service where permitted by law.
Damages and Defects:

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the situation. For items damaged during transit, our policy is to provide a replacement or exchange for the specific part only, shipping related damage does not qualify for a monetary refund. We are not responsible for ANY installation fees or charges from 3rd party businesses. Bimmer Plug is not responsible for any vehicle damages or personal injury incurred during installation. Professional installation is highly recommended.

Exchanges 

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to email us to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item, so you do not have to wait until your shipment has arrived, for your exchange product to process and ship out. If you received the wrong item from what you ordered, please contact us ASAP so we can help with the exchange process. Please send a video and photo of the situation at hand, if applicable, to speed up the entire process. Exchanges, due to wrong fitment, on the buyer's end, will NOT be accepted if we don't keep the product in stock. Exchange requests for custom products, such as exhaust tips, steering wheel replacements, etc. will not be eligible for an exchange.

Refunds 

We will notify you once we’ve received and reviewed your inquiry, and let you know if the refund request is approved or not. If the refund is approved, you’ll be refunded to your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. Refunds are only eligible up to 30 days after delivery. Refunds for returned, new condition products, will have a 25% restocking fee applied. Custom-made product orders can be canceled within the first hour for a full refund. If you decide to cancel within 1 hour, you have the option of a 75% refund or receiving full in-store credit. Please note that beyond the 1 hour mark, orders for custom-made products cannot be canceled or refunded.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Bimmer Plug is NOT responsible for lost or stolen packages. If packages are confirmed to be successfully delivered, you will have to file a claim with the shipping carrier if you did not receive the package. We send tracking information once packages are shipped and delivered. Please obtain your package as soon as possible. It is ultimately your responsibility to file a claim with the mail carrier. Bimmer Plug is unable to do anything in this situation, and will not refund or resend the lost/stolen item.
