Installation Protocol

Step-by-step procedure

Open the hood and locate the back of the front fender side marker housing from the engine bay. Reach behind the fender liner to access the wiring connector.

Press the locking tab on the OEM wiring connector and pull it free from the factory side marker.

03

Using a wrapped flathead screwdriver or trim tool, gently press the retaining tabs and push the OEM marker outward from the fender exterior until it releases.

04

Insert the Bimmer Plug smoked sequential side marker into the fender opening from the exterior side, pressing firmly until all retaining tabs click securely into place.

05

Route the wiring behind the fender liner and connect the Bimmer Plug harness connector to the factory plug. The connector is keyed and will only seat in the correct orientation.

06

Turn on the ignition and activate the turn signal. Verify the sequential sweeping animation operates correctly on both driver and passenger sides.
