No! The screen comes enabled with Apple CarPlay. If you want to use your original screen, the retrofit box option is for you.
All of our parts are made, using an OEM mold, to assure the best quality fitment with the final product.
Professional installation is highly recommended, and available at our facility in Irvine, CA! You can inquire here. Hardware for installation is included, if you choose to do it at home. Estimated installation time is 1.5 hours.
Once you have received your order from the delivery date, you will have up to 30 days from that period to return the product. We will inspect the product to make sure there are no damages or other defects. All returns for refunds will incur a 25% restocking fee. The customer pays for return shipping, and store credit will be issued minus the shipping charge for the return label. All products approved for return are eligible for store credit, exchange, or refund. There is no return, refund, or exchange for any parts that have been used, damaged, modified, painted, or installed. Returns are not eligible for custom products such as: steering wheels, grilles, diffusers, front lips, side skirts, exhaust tips, DRL modules, CarPlay products, headlights, tail lights, spoilers, mirror caps, front hoods, rear trunks, engine covers, mid-pipes, downpipes, floor mats, key fobs, seat back covers, interior trim sets, splitters, brace bars, canards, etc. Custom products will be identified by the absence of a quantity counter on the product page. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. The Install Process
1. Preparation for Installation
- Park the vehicle on a flat surface and turn off the ignition.
- Disconnect the car battery to prevent electrical shorts.
2. Removing the Existing Unit
- Use trim removal tools to carefully detach the dashboard panels
- Unscrew and remove the factory head unit. Disconnect all cables, noting their positions.
3. Installing the Retrofit Unit
- Connect the provided harness to the retrofit unit and the original head unit.
- Secure the connections as per the manual
- Place the retrofit unit securely behind the dashboard.
4. Reassemble
- Reconnect the original head unit and reattach the dashboard panels.
5. Activation & Setup
- Reconnect the battery and follow the instructions to activate CarPlay or Android Auto using a USB drive or software tool.
